Paul Klee - A pionering modernist of unrivaled creative output, he counts among the truly defining artists of the twentieth century exploring and expanding the terrain of avant-agarde art through work that ranges from stunning colorist grids to evocative graphic productions. His highly individual style was influenced by movements in art that included expressionism, cubism and surrealism. He experimented and eventually deeply explored color theory. His published book "Paul Klee Notebooks" are held to be as important for modern art as Leonardo da Vinci's "A Treatise on Painting" was for the Renaissance

Paul Klee (保罗 克利)
